SLOBODAN PAVKOVIĆ

From professional player in the 1970s, to coach, instructor, technical director, analyst and commentator, I have spent over 40 years studying, developing and implementing the art and science of football.

I have coached at the highest levels with the Kuwait National Team, the Serbia U-19 Team, as well as top club sides in my native Serbia, Sweden, Egypt, Kuwait and Oman.

Prior to coaching I had an illustrious playing career with Serbian clubs Vojvodina and Partizan, as well as Swedish club Degefors. I was capped at both U-19 and U-21 levels for the Yugoslav National Team with the highlight coming in 1978 when we were crowned the European U-21 champions, with me as the team captain.

I have also lectured and delivered trainings on various courses such as the UEFA Pro, A and B coaching licenses at the Football Association of Serbia.

​

As the Technical Director of the Football Association of Singapore I was responsible for the systematic implementation of player development and coach education programmes to improve the overall standard of play in Singapore.

​

It was during that time that I also published a number of coaching manuals (and DVDs) detailing a variety of football techniques, trainings and exercises.
